Union County, Union Township, and the City of Elizabeth will kick off a year-long Street Smart NJ pedestrian safety campaign with a press conference in partnership with the Elizabeth Police Department, Union Township Police Department, Elizabeth Public Schools, Union Township Public Schools, the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, and EZ Ride Transportation Management Association.
