A free Pedestrian Safety Education and Enforcement training workshop for traffic police officers, also known as "Cops in the Crosswalk," will be offered through a partnership between the state Department of Transportation, Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, and the Civic Eye Collabortive. The workshop focuses on structured education and enforcement operations to enhance pedestrian safety.
