NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety Grant Training Webinar

Mar 3

Overview

The New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety will host a grantee training webinar on Thursday, March 3 at 10 am.

Any entity planning on applying for a New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety grant for the upcoming FY 2023 grant cycle — including the Pedestrian Safety, Enforcement and Education Fund Grant Program, which can be used for Street Smart NJ campaigns — is required to attend this virtual training.

The training will last about two hours.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the current state of our traffic safety efforts in New Jersey, to set priorities and expectations for FY2023, and to discuss important emerging issues such as community engagement and equity, law enforcement challenges, and the new National Roadway Safety Strategy.

Other topics of discussion will include grantee reporting requirements and common issues as well as the latest information on the SAGE e-grant system.

Any questions about the meeting should be directed to your DHTS program staff contact or regional supervisor.
