Overview
In partnership with Avenues in Motion, the Mayor's Wellness Campaign, Hanover Police Department, and Hanover Recreation Department will host a Bike Rodeo Bicycle Safety Course. The free, interactive event will teach children how to ride safely and confidently while having fun.
Participants will rotate through obstacle courses, helmet fittings, and basic bike safety checks while learning important skills, such as, signaling, stopping, and safely navigating streets and sidewalks.
The program is designed to promote safe biking habits and encourage healthy, active transportation throughout the community.
Participants should bring their own bicycle and helmet. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
